"Office Series" Work by Dana Damewood
Artist's Reception Friday, March 21st from 7pm to 10pm

Dana Damewood was born in rural Nebraska in 1978. She received her Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in May of 2003. Her photographs have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the country. Dana lives and works as a freelance photographer in Omaha.

The photographs in "Office Series" were compiled over the course of the past two years. They were taken during the off hours, in and around office spaces whose silence evoke a discordant effect that is at the same time unsettling and meditative. There is sterility but also balance in the repetition and emptiness of the settings. Dana's intent with this body of work has been to visually communicate the tension between these two opposing reactions that extends beyond context.

Please join us for an Artist's Reception on Friday, March 21st from 7pm to 10pm.
"Office Series" will run through April 9th, 2008
