New Work by Joey Lynch
Artist's Reception Saturday, December 15th from 7pm to 10pm
with guest DJ Brent Crampton

Pulp's first exhibit will feature the work of Omaha artist, Joey Lynch. Joey has exhibited in several group shows and helped present many other artists' work in Omaha as curator of "Tugboat Presents:”, but this is his first solo show in the city.

His new work pits the carefree times of some, next to others driven to despair. These figures stand in contrast to a hopeful rainbow of color while the possible fate of all looms overhead.

Joey is a self-taught screen print and mixed media artist who last summer moved to Omaha from Lincoln. In Lincoln he helped found Tugboat Gallery with artists Peggy Gomez and Jake Gillespie. He now directs the gallery's nomadic arm, "Tugboat Presents:", which utilizes alternating venues for exhibits of local and national artists. Joey also works with several local musicians, lending a hand to collaborations on posters and apparel, music videos and, most recently, live visual projections for Bright Eyes during their U.S. and European Cassadaga tour.
