"Spring Break 4-Ever!"
New Work by Tim McEvoy
February 20th through March 16th
Artist's Reception | February 20th from 7pm to 10pm
Tim McEvoy, a life-long Nebraska resident, was born in Omaha in 1970 and more or less raised on hotdogs and Catholicism. His paintings deal with perception and discovery – placing everyday objects into new contexts. The results create new meanings for these items – ones that often satirize our "consume or collapse" economy.
Tim's work may not tackle the larger issues plaguing society, but his paintings shine a light into the darken corners of our billboard culture, the rising junk piles and our ever-changing definition of the American Dream.
