New Work by J.J. Carroll

J. J. Carroll was born and raised in Omaha and graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1994. After graduation, he began a career in animation, working for such studios as Crank! It! Out!, Ink Tank, Red Sky/Olive Jar, Funny Garbage. Producing Nickelodeon's "KABLAM!", music videos for Mtv, and animation for both the motion picture industry as well as web content. In 2005 he was awarded a London International Advertising Award for animation work on a Wendy's ad campaign called "smart square".

Since returning to Omaha in late 2004, J. J. has remained steadily busy with animation and art direction on video games for cellular phones for a company based out of New York called Massively Mobile. He has also been committed to producing drawings, collages, and paintings since he was eight.

This exhibit will run through February 16, 2009.
